JOB SUMMARY

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for supporting day‑to‑day facility operations at an assigned location while coordinating with the central Facilities team in Austin. This role provides on‑site oversight of facility activities, vendor access, and operational support to ensure the building environment remains safe, functional, and operational. This role operates independently at times and must be capable of addressing facility needs, coordinating vendors, and escalating issues appropriately when support from the central facilities team is required.

The position remains hands‑on and operational in nature, supporting facility tasks while maintaining visibility into the overall condition and functionality of the site.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY

ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Provide on-site oversight of daily facility operations at the assigned location
  • Perform hands‑on facility support tasks including basic repairs, workspace setups, and building upkeep
  • Monitor building systems and identify facility issues requiring attention
  • Coordinate vendor access and support vendor visits for maintenance or repairs
  • Communicate facility issues and operational updates to Facilities leadership
  • Support preventative maintenance activities and facility inspections
  • Ensure workplace areas remain safe, organized, and functional
  • Respond to facility service requests and elevate complex issues when necessary
  • Maintain documentation and updates within the company’s ticketing or maintenance system
  • Support facility logistics including deliveries, workspace moves, and equipment relocation
  • Travel occasionally to other company locations to assist with facility support activities, as needed
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Applies experience and practical judgment to complete facility tasks effectively and independently
  • Identifies facility issues, evaluates options, and recommends appropriate solutions when needed
  • Troubleshoots non-routine facility problems using structured problem‑solving approaches
  • Understands the impact of facility issues and communicates recommendations to Facilities leadership
  • Determines appropriate methods and approaches when addressing new or unfamiliar tasks
  • Communicates clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Supports efficient use of materials, time, and resources when completing assigned work
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Trade school training or technical certifications preferred
  • Typically requires 4–6 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or related field
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the workday, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as required
  • Ability to safely use ladders, lifts, power tools, and other facility equipment
  • Ability to work in mechanical rooms, warehouses, offices, and other facility spaces
  • Vision and hearing sufficient to safely perform job duties and communicate effectively
  • Ability to respond to facility emergencies, including outside of normal business hours, as required

The annual salary range is $72,000 - $100,000
