Neighborhood Service Manager Responsibilities

• Provide leadership by hiring, training, mentoring staff, resolving issues and protecting the Neighborhood’s interests.
• Manage the Neighborhood budget, cost‑effective maintenance operations, safety training, capital projects, vendors, contractors and inventory.
• Serve as the knowledge holder for company policies and compliance, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

• Minimum five years of apartment maintenance experience and at least two years of supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED; three related certificates such as BOMA, IREM or vocational programs.
• Strong customer‑service skills and ability to communicate with managers, clients, neighbors and the public.
• Willingness to work beyond 9‑to‑5, including on‑call availability.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local governing laws and ability to interpret safety rules, operating manuals and maintenance instructions.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, perform repetitive motion, hear, see and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

• Pay range: $45.00–$52.25 per hour.
