The Mechanic, General Maintenance PRN is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility to ensure a safe, functional, and well‑maintained environment. This role supports the daily operations of the facility by responding to maintenance requests, completing preventative maintenance tasks, and assisting other trades when needed.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service calls, including hot/cold temperature concerns.
• Replace lighting fixtures, bulbs, and ballasts as needed.
• Complete minor repairs to facility equipment and building components.
• Replace ceiling tiles and perform minor window and roof repairs.
• Conduct daily rounds of the facility to identify and address maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist other maintenance trades and departments when additional support is required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to facility policies and procedures.

Education

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
Graduate of trade or vocational school in a related field.

Experience

Required:

2 years of experience with a contractor or work in another type of trade.

Certifications
Not applicable.

Physical Demands
Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility; respond promptly to service calls; replace lighting fixtures; complete minor repairs; replace ceiling tiles and perform minor window and roof repairs; conduct daily rounds; assist other trades; maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment while adhering to policies and procedures.
