National Indoor RV Centers is seeking a dependable, versatile individual to join the team as a Building Maintenance (Handyperson)! This role requires someone who takes pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained while also handling basic repair and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is a “jack-of-all-trades” who can seamlessly move from cleaning and sanitation duties to minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as required.
- Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal.
- Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies.
- Perform deep-cleaning projects as scheduled.
- Manage the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in the facility.
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with vendors or contractors when larger repairs are needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, invoices, and maintenance logs.
- Previous experience in custodial, maintenance, or handyman roles preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair.
- Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools safely.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Indoor and outdoor work required.
- May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and various environmental conditions.
- Occasional evening, weekend, or on-call work may be required for special projects or emergencies.
