Electrical Assembler

Overview

Layout and assemble wiring for equipment.

Responsibilities

* Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment

* Read and interpret drawings and application legends for circuit and part identification

* Measure and cut wiring accurately

* Use hand tools throughout the workday

* Collaborate effectively with team members

* Follow all safety rules and regulations

* Support Lean initiatives (5S, 4I, LDMS, ACPs, RATs, etc.)

* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* 0-2 years of experience in a related field

* May require completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in a specialized area

* Ability to read electrical drawings

* Strong understanding of wire gauges and color codes

* Experience with electrical hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers, cable cutters)

* Knowledge of electrical components such as contractors, breakers, transformers, communication boards, and controllers

* Flexibility to work overtime as needed

* Willingness to work at different stations as required

* Strong verbal communication skills

* General knowledge of hand tools

* Team-oriented mindset

Physical Capabilities Based on Daily Work Schedule of 5 day work week, 8 - 10 hour shift:

* Sitting: 2-3 hours per day

* Walking: ~1 hour per day

* Standing: 8-10 hours per day

* Lifting: 35 lbs frequently | 50 lbs occasionally

* Carrying: 25 lbs frequently | 50 lbs occasionally

* Bending, Reaching, Squatting, Twisting:
