IREN is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer Lead to join our team in Sweetwater, TX. This role plays a key part in supporting the daily operations of our data center by ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment. Responsibilities include industrial cleaning, assisting with equipment handling and maintenance tasks, and working closely with facility staff to uphold operational standards.

• Act as the on‑shift lead for a crew of 3–8 workers covering assigned data hall zones
• Hand out work assignments, zone coverage, and equipment to crew members at the start of each shift
• Run pre‑shift safety talks and walk the job at the end of each shift to check work quality
• Keep an eye on the crew throughout the shift and step in with guidance or corrections as needed
• Help train and support junior crew members on proper techniques, safety procedures, and work standards
• Fill out and turn in all shift paperwork before leaving the job

• Pre‑employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.
• Must provide own steel‑toed work boots; all other PPE will be supplied.
• Must be able to reliably commute to the work operations site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.

• Conduct commercial & industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness throughout data centers and the facilities.
• Routinely assist in changing Data Center filters.
• Assist with unboxing & racking miners as required
• Assist trades personnel in performing maintenance activities as required
• Perform custodial duties, including emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines for manual handling/lifting, handling cleaning chemicals, and operating cleaning equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with colleagues and visitors.

• The pay is hourly based on experience.
  • Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications.
• Per Diem amount of $155.00 and project allowance, when applicable
• 15% night‑shift premium for eligible roles, when applicable
• Overtime compensation for non‑exempt workers for hours worked over 40 per week
