IREN is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team in Sweetwater, TX. This role plays a key part in supporting the daily operations of our data center by ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment. Responsibilities include industrial cleaning, assisting with equipment handling and maintenance tasks, and working closely with facility staff to uphold operational standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting.

- Conduct commercial & industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness throughout data centers and facilities.
- Routinely assist in changing Data Center filters.
- Assist with unboxing & racking miners as required.
- Assist trades personnel in performing maintenance activities as required.
- Perform custodial duties, including emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for manual handling/lifting, handling cleaning chemicals, and operating cleaning equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with colleagues and visitors.
- Proven experience in commercial/industrial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina & strength to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects as required.
- Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.
- Must provide own steel-toed work boots; all other PPE will be supplied.
- Must be able to reliably commute to the work operations site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
- Actual hourly rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
- Overtime compensation for non-exempt workers for hours worked over 40 per week.
