The Maintenance Mechanic supports the daily operations of the hospital’s physical plant by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections of facility systems and equipment.

Howyou’ll contribute
- Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of hospital facilities and building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and utility infrastructure to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Execute preventive maintenance activities in accordance with the facility’s maintenance management program and regulatory standards.
- Respond to maintenance service requests and work orders in a timely manner while minimizing disruption to patient care, clinical operations, and hospital services.
- Assist with facility improvement projects including alterations, remodeling, minor construction, and equipment installation in compliance with hospital policies and safety procedures.
- Support fire and life safety programs by participating in inspections, drills, and corrective actions in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, preventive maintenance schedules, equipment inspections, and completed work orders.
- Collaborate with Plant Operations leadership and other departments to ensure compliance with safety policies, emergency preparedness procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.

- Health & Fitness Center Access
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience required; experience in a hospital or healthcare facility preferred.
- Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and safety standards, including those from The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration preferred.
