General Function

Neighborhood Health Association is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various equipment at multiple worksites and clinics in the Toledo area. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for fixing things and ensuring spaces are well-maintained, we encourage you to apply for this position. This position is Monday – Friday, no weekends or holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
  • Repair equipment and machinery as needed and arrange regular inspections to assure equipment is in good working order.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner as assigned.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role, such as construction or building maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Strong knowledge of general repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot various issues effectively and identify needs for repair.
  • Must have own transportation. Will be sent to multiple locations in Toledo area. Mileage is reimbursed.
