LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

Pay: $16.25 per hour

Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team.

This position is responsible for ensuring residents receive clean, properly labeled clothing and linens while maintaining organization and quality throughout the laundry process.

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize resident clothing and facility linens
• Label resident clothing to ensure items are returned correctly
• Sort laundry according to facility procedures
• Deliver clean clothing and linens to designated areas
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry department
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor inventory and report supply needs
• Assist with special laundry requests as needed

• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move laundry carts throughout the day
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is helpful but not required.
