Summary

Mozaic (a chapter of NYSARC) is hiring for a Part-Time Custodial Cleaner. This role provides outdoor grounds maintenance and custodial duties. The position requires a documented disability to meet federal contract compliance.

Part-time

Help maintain clean, safe environments. Complete outdoor tasks such as spring cleanup, leaf blowing, hedge trimming, raking, pruning, snow removal (shoveling and salting). Maintain and clean equipment, report damage, communicate problems. Daily tasks may include cleaning and restocking restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning windows, dusting surfaces, ensuring cleanliness standards. Manage waste removal and recycling, follow safety procedures when using machinery and chemicals, ensure no materials left behind.

Work independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ground maintenance experience. Successful completion of background checks.

Read and follow safety guidelines, instructions, material safety data sheets. Write simple reports and communicate clearly with coworkers, customers, supervisors.

Regular standing and walking, frequent use of hands and arms, lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Outdoor tasks in various conditions, exposure to noise, dust, heat, fumes.
