$38.35/hr with increase to $40.55/hr after three month probation

Straight Afternoon (3:00pm - 11:30pm)

• Provide support in troubleshooting / repairs and system improvements / optimization to ensure quality and efficiency
• Establish and follow-up on any projects assigned, including timing, concept, feasibility design, specifications, construction and commissioning (as required)
• Provide support in testing, repairing, calibrating electric or electronic components
• Maintain all working equipment and assist in training Team Members on electric equipment as required
• Analyze, record, chart and document required maintenance records for department
• Prepare material specs for requisitions required by vendors or other departments
• Deal with various vendors, suppliers, etc.
• Respond to all maintenance requirements within the department
• Participate in ongoing cross-training, multi-skilling activities within the organization
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency in achieving results
• Ensure that all operator safety devices are functioning properly on completion of repairs modifications and installations
• Know and understand process documentation and customer specific requirements as they relate to the job function
• Follow and comply with all Operational Procedures and Policies
• Adhere to company core values and policies in a multi-disciplined and fast paced work environment
• Other duties as assigned

• Licensed Electrician (422A or 309A)
• Certificate of Apprenticeship an asset
• Arc Flash Certification training an asset
• 5 yrs+ industrial experience with electrical maintenance in a manufacturing / production equipment
• Good communication (oral / written) and mathematics knowledge
• Working knowledge of Safety Standards of Equipment
• PLC troubleshooting experience (A/B)
• Good attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Able to work in various locations within and outside the plant
• Ability to work to deadlines and multiple demands
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work independently and without supervision
• Ability to uphold confidentiality
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer needs
