Job DescriptionXanitos is a specialist in Ambulatory Cleaning Services providing professional cleaning for medical office buildings, clinics, and outpatient surgery centers. The company seeks 2nd‑shift, part‑time Ambulatory Housekeepers for Kaiser Permanente Hear Center and Eye Care in Tacoma, WA.
- Hourly Pay Rate: $20.82
- Tentative Shift
Hours:
6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Mon – Fri - Actual scheduled hours/days may vary; schedule flexibility required for on‑call shifts.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Keep premises of ambulatory facilities in clean, orderly condition by performing the following duties.
Daily Responsibilities- Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Polishes metalwork.
- Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to all client locations.
- Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
- Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
- Post‑offer medical, background screening, and drug test required.
- High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.
- Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions in English.
- Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 unless a medical or religious exemption is granted.

- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.

- Possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
- Employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- Occasional exposure to work near moving mechanical parts.
- Noise level usually quiet.
