Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Building Maintenance

We’re seeking an experienced, reliable Maintenance Technician to join our growing real estate and property management company. This role is ideal for someone who already has a solid foundation in maintenance work and is ready for a position with variety, responsibility, and room to grow. This position is broad and demanding. This role will require frequent travel between our various Pierce County properties.
This position will have responsibilities related to our entire portfolio, currently 500+ residential units, 12 commercial units, 1 office building, and a 52-room motel.
The successful candidate will have a track record of success in positions with similar responsibility, have a passion for getting work done, enjoy working as part of a team, have a love of learning and self-improvement, and genuinely care about people.
Critical Success Factors- Excellent people/communication skills
- Ability to effectively monitor and maintain a high standard of appearance and maintenance at all our properties
- Ability to take ownership of the successful resolution of work orders
- Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members using our maintenance management software
Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm (Over-time and after-hours compensation available)
Compensation: $26 - $34 hourly
