Custodian; Night Shift

Position Summary: The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of the store, adhering to organizational and customer standards.

Hourly Rate: $17.13 per hour
Schedule: Graveyard shift - start time between 4pm and 7pm, finishing between 12am and 3am.

• Floors:
  Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and occasionally shampooing carpets or buffing hard floors using industrial equipment.
• Restrooms:
  Disinfecting and cleaning toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing hygiene supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels).
• General Spaces:
  Dusting furniture, wiping down tables, cleaning windows, and taking out recycling and trash.
• Break room: empty trash and recycling, wipe down flat surfaces, restock soap and paper dispensers (ensure fridge/freezer contents are up to the store to clean out or dispose).

• Equipment:
  Cleaning and servicing custodial equipment (e.g., vacuums, floor buffers) to keep them in working order.
• Reporting:
  Identifying and reporting larger maintenance issues or structural damage to management.
• Truck/Van:
  Keep vehicle and trailer clean and report any issues to management.

• Hazards:
  Removing snow and ice from exterior walkways and salting paths to prevent slips.
• Protocols:
  Strictly following chemical safety and hazardous material guidelines (such as SDS/OSHA standards).
