Grounds Maintenance and Technician

Blueprints is hiring a Grounds Maintenance Technician.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

The Grounds Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the buildings, grounds, playgrounds, and equipment at all ECS facilities while ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and other applicable regulations. This position performs preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs involving basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work, while identifying and reporting facility concerns as needed. The technician coordinates with vendors, utility companies, and building owners to address repairs, emergencies, playground maintenance, and facility improvement projects, and assists with inventory management, supply procurement, and budget planning for major maintenance needs.

Additionally, the role requires delivering supplies and equipment to ECS sites, maintaining accurate maintenance records, adhering to safety standards, and effectively prioritizing and solving problems in a dynamic work environment.
