Maintenance Technician

The successful Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment.
This is an on-site position at Aviva Crossing apartments. Pay: $26-27/hour, dependent on experience. Duties include completing work orders in a timely and accurate manner, cleaning up after work is complete, performing repairs on the property including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical, cleaning apartments during turnover process, as directed, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience, and legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance). Preferred qualifications include minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work, technical training in one or more building trades, and knowledge and skills such as taking direction from the supervisor, reading, writing, doing basic math, and following instructions, being flexible to change work plans, maintaining a professional personal appearance, and legally operating a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).
