Position:
Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and assists with all property maintenance needs, physical appearance, and work orders. Hand‑on maintenance of units and grounds, response to work order requests, the turn and make‑ready process, and a commitment to excellent resident relations through outstanding customer service characterize the role. Rotating on‑call and some weekend availability are required.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the daily operations of the property
  • Respond to work orders per company policy
  • Perform grounds and exterior upkeep as needed
  • Manage the turn and make‑ready process
  • Conduct regular health and safety inspections
  • Inspect units for move‑in readiness
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and state/federal safety and fair housing laws
  • Execute hands‑on maintenance tasks
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in improving the property and position through innovative ideas
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience (required)
  • Maintenance experience in multi‑unit complexes or hotels (preferred)
  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC (preferred)
  • HVAC certification (preferred)
  • Mechanical background (preferred)
  • Good organizational and people skills
  • Ability to lift and work with heavy equipment
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the property and have a valid driver’s license
