Overview
Maintenance Technician 2 - )
Under general supervision of the Maintenance Project Manager, responsible for general maintenance repairs and related PMs in a complex building campus. Tasks may include finish & trim, flooring and ceiling repairs, minor electrical repairs, minor plumbing repairs, minor mechanical maintenance and other tasks related to building condition. Performs job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance repairs and related PMs on a complex building campus.
- Complete finish & trim, flooring and ceiling repairs as required.
- Conduct minor electrical, plumbing and mechanical maintenance.
- Address tasks related to building condition and safety as assigned.
- Uphold the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital while performing duties.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Trade school or on-the-job training with a recognized service organization in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Boiler, Steam and Central Plant Operations, or 3 years’ experience in Healthcare Maintenance (preferred).
