Office Cleaner Helper

Job Summary

Clean and maintain office location by performing routine cleaning duties. Additional tasks may be assigned by management outside of daily expectations. This is a part-time position with evening-time requirements.

Function in the Job

Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Job Function

* Responsible for garbage removal from main areas and office spaces

* Vacuum designated areas

* Dust and deep clean office spaces as needed

* Clean windows and glass surfaces (interior and exterior facing)

* Mop floors as needed

* Use cleaning products properly (e.g., bleach, toilet bowl cleaner, glass cleaner)

* Monitor and restock cleaning supplies

* Lift and move items (e.g., toaster ovens, vacuums, desk chairs)

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of all assigned areas

* Communicate effectively with management and team members

* Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements

* Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

* Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

* Work independently and ensure all assigned duties are completed

Required Skills

* High school diploma or GED preferred

* Ability to follow safety and security procedures and company policies

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to follow schedules and complete assigned tasks

* Ability to take direction from a supervisor

* Good communication skills (written and verbal)

* Ability to work independently and within a team

* Demonstrates professionalism and reliability

* Ability to perform physical work and operate cleaning equipment

Knowledge & Skills / Work Schedule

* Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional Saturdays as needed

* Evening shift: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM

* Must have strong communication skills
