Maintenance Technician – Multifamily Belara Lakes
Summary:
Provide support to residents, ensuring high quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, timely service and personal attention.
- Prepare apartments for move‑ins, including painting, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping.
- Respond to resident requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal (if applicable).
- Maintain grounds, pool/hot tub, common areas, dog park amenities to keep clean, operational and safe.
- Be available on a call schedule to respond to after‑hour emergencies.
- Report maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform maintenance tasks scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Attend continuing training programs as required by Cushman & Wakefield.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain proper uniform and appearance standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and safeguard company tools and equipment.
- Maintain reliable and punctual on‑site attendance and report any tardiness to supervisor.
- Perform any other duties as required or assigned.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA 608 – Minimum Type II and CPO or local required certification.
- Ability to read/understand policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Math skills: compute rates, ratios, percentages, prepare and interpret bar graphs.
- Problem solving for routine situations with several variables.
- Oral, written, and diagrammed instruction follow‑through.
- Computer math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with all units of measurement.
- Report writing and correspondence drafting.
- Follow all safety procedures.
High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
ExperienceMinimum 1+ year of related experience.
Work EnvironmentProfessional office environment using standard equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines). Requires travel between properties in varying weather conditions.
Physical Demands- Stand, walk, ascend stairs, ladders, step stools regularly; travel outside between buildings in variable outdoor conditions.
- Remain stationary (sit or stand) 85% of the time; operate office machinery.
- Travel up to 10% of the time; lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally or frequently.
Competitive pay of $21.25 – $25.00 per hour.
