Ride Technician- Mechanic

technicians grow within our structured career ladder - compensation ranges from $25.00 - $27.00 (plus) , based on relevant external experience and/or internal progression.what you get to do:as a ride technician, you’ll provide a high level of technical, electrical, and mechanical expertise in order to ensure our guests enjoy a thrilling, breathtaking – and safe experience. You will:
• inspect, diagnose and repair all park rides, including water craft, slides, nets, and moving walks
• uphold all department safety standards, including test riding and inspections
• complete all required documentation
• communicate any ride related questions/concerns to leadership
• maintain proficiency in all manufacturing manuals for each ride
• perform daily cleaning and maintenance duties, including care of tools
• provide exceptional service to guests and team memberswhat it takes to succeed:
• high school diploma, trade school or equivalent required
• a minimum of one year verifiable industrial maintenance experience, automotive or military
• advanced knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and conveyor systems
• possesses a valid driver’s license and can adhere to company driving guidelines
• good written communication skills required to complete maintenance documentation
• ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and managers
• proven team player
• possess professional quality tool set
• lift, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs. On a frequent basis.
• position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift
• able to work on high steel or wood structures
• able to wear a full body harness
• able to be respirator trained
• work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of weather conditions
• perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis; stand, walk, climb, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks
• perform all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
• promote and ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and fellow ambassadors
