Shanna & Bryan Glazer Family JCC, a leading Jewish Community Center in Tampa, FL, is hiring a full‑time Maintenance Technician. This role supports community and staff by maintaining the facility and assisting with events.

Salary Range: $17.00 – $18.00 Hourly

• Set up and take down rooms for meetings and events as needed.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks by routine and work order.
• Maintain the outdoor area of the campus for cleanliness and readiness for guests.
• Perform limited grounds maintenance.
• Assist with housekeeping responsibilities as required.
• Execute basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Facility maintenance experience.
• Facility housekeeping experience.
• Basic knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of proper and safe use of tools and equipment.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Attention to detail and keen observation.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.

• Lifting, pushing, or pulling in excess of 50 pounds using proper body mechanics and/or available equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl, and reach for extended periods.
• Capability to work at heights, sometimes above 10 feet.
• Capability to access small and confined spaces.
• Work performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions typical for the Florida environment.

This position reports directly to the Director of Facilities Operations. No supervision of employees is required.
