Job Summary
Uni First is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Utility Worker to join our team as a Team Partner in the Maintenance Department. Responsibilities include basic maintenance and plant utility functions, loading and unloading deliveries, painting, operating industrial equipment, and plant cleaning / blowdowns. Standard Monday‑Friday work week with periodic night and weekend overtime. On‑the‑job training provided.

What You’ll Be Doing- Use equipment for plant cleaning operations (floor scrubbers, lint removal devices, outside rubbish removal, equipment cleaning, pit/trench cleaning).
- Perform miscellaneous painting tasks throughout the plant or outside facility grounds.
- Operate powered industrial forklifts and lifts to relocate materials.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks and production receiving activities.
- Maintain facilities: landscaping, snow removal, other removal operations.
- Perform light equipment maintenance: trench cleaning, lint blowdown, fluid level checks, bulb and ceiling tile replacements, cart cleaning and repair, pressure washing after training.
- After proper training and certification, may operate company vehicles such as shuttle or route trucks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts) and similar tools.
- Experience using basic hand and power tools required.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret procedures and instructions in English.
- Effective communication and ability to respond to questions from co‑workers and managers.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
