Equity Maintenance Group (EMG) is actively seeking a full time Facilities Maintenance Technician in the Tampa Bay area.

EMG is an Orlando based property/facilities maintenance company. Our company seeks to provide environmentally friendly, high caliber, property and facilities maintenance at a reasonable price. Candidates should have a proven track record of being reliable, honest and hard working.

We are looking for a full time, experienced Maintenance Technician to service commercial properties throughout Central Florida.

• Perform general maintenance duties and repairs including but not limited to painting, pressure washing, repair to structural elements, including parking lot and sidewalks, drywall and stucco repair and replacement/repair of street signs
• Replacement/repair of lighting including lamp, fuse and ballast replacement, changing of light bulbs Equipment repair inside and outside of buildings
• Perform custodial duties as needed including emptying out trash cans, picking up loose trash and disposal of bulk trash
• Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of property
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Performing monthly inspections and reporting findings to a direct supervisor
• Assist other departments, including but not limited to leasing, sales and property management.

• At least two years of prior experience as a Maintenance Technician – always Adhere to safety – Attention to detail
  -Must be reliable

• High school Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to use Environmental Health & Safety approved cleaning chemicals to perform essential job functions daily
• Must be able to work outside
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
