Experienced as a building engineer and looking for an opportunity to continue to develop your skills? Then this could be the job for YOU!! This property management firm is seeking a professional Building Engineer to work with Class A Office property. The position will be point of contact for resolving work orders, troubleshooting a variety of building issues for HVAC, plumbing, fire/life/safety issues and general maintenance, as well as communicating with vendors for specific needs.

Must have EPA Certification!

• Walking properties to identify potential maintenance issues, before they become an issue
• Responding to tenant concerns and inquiries
• Reviewing work orders on work order system
• Speaking with tenants face to face to understand their work order needs
• Troubleshooting plumbing and potential electrical needs
• Responding to fix-it items such as: general facilities, electrical, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, etc.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance
• Speaking with vendors for TI and Construction Cap Ex projects
• Meeting vendors at properties to open suites or provide access to electrical or equipment rooms
• Working with vendors on various projects, and following up
• Tracking work order status
• Communicating with Property Managers and team
• Ensuring landscaping is well kept
• Reviewing proposals for vendors to select vendors, alongside the Property Manager
• Setting up for special events and property projects, as needed
• Assisting with specialty projects

• Ability to work well with others
• Strong people and communication skills

• 2+ years of Building Maintenance - commercial experience required
• Ability to work on automated systems
• Familiarity working with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and roofing
• Experience with chillers
• Experience testing chemical levels in water system
• Ability to work with external vendors
