Come join our GTE Financial team! We are looking for an organized, professional, and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Facilities Specialist. The Facilities Specialist is a hands-on position focused on the day-to-day maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and operation of building systems and equipment. This role will perform routine facility inspections, respond to maintenance needs, assist with preventive maintenance activities, coordinate with vendors when needed, and document work performed.

The Facilities Specialist must be able to work independently, troubleshoot a variety of facility-related issues, and quickly adapt to changing operational needs while providing dependable technical support to our facilities and business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and hands-on experience in at least one of the following skilled trades: electrical, mechanical, or plumbing. Experience in multiple trades is a plus. The candidate should have a strong understanding of building systems and equipment, as well as experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

The Facilities Specialist performs inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of facility systems and equipment, including, but not limited to, emergency power systems, electrical distribution, IT support equipment, fire detection and suppression systems, HVAC, and chilled water systems. The position may also assist with vendor coordination and specialized maintenance activities as needed.

Technical:

• Must be able to demonstrate strong business development and business networking skills specifically within the real estate and title closing industry.
• Serve as first responder for repairs and employee needs. Furniture repair and relocation, lighting repairs, misc. painting, floor and ceiling system finish, plumbing and all other building related issues.
• Perform adjustments to the building automation system. Track and trend utility consumption as related to the environment within the building. Track and report status of points and alarms.
• Set up meeting and conference rooms in advance of scheduled meeting. Assist in setting up for special events on campus.

Administration:

• Assist and support the Administration team with ability to back up their roles in the credit union when needed. Act as an ambassador between the Administration department and the Community Financial Centers along with other various departments.
• Assures timely procurement of goods and services in order to keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly. Ability to adapt to changing environment and changed priorities as needed.
• Ensures confidentiality of all information and transactions regarding the credit union, its members and its employees are held to the highest level of business ethics.
• Supports "team" environment in the workplace as well as credit union management and the board of directors.
• Assist all areas of the credit union in budget preparation and the research that is necessary to provide solid and reliable numbers for all budgeted and non-budgeted needs.
• Participate in credit union training and required testing. Support and encourage the credit union mission, vision and brand promise.

Operational:

• For the purpose of achieving/exceeding organizational goals, it is the responsibility of each employee to strive for the continuous quality improvement of processes and service to internal and external customers/members.
