Facilities Supervisor; Warehouse

Position Overview

The Facilities Supervisor, under the direction of the Facilities Manager, is responsible for coordinating and supporting maintenance activities related to the company’s facilities, equipment, and parts.

• Prioritize maintenance and repair activities for company grounds, equipment, and parts.
• Assist with the maintenance, testing, and repair of facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, structural, and carpentry work.
• Operate and support material handling equipment, fire protection systems, hazardous waste processes, and sanitation equipment.
• Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations; participate in emergency response as needed.
• Maintain efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates for accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate and oversee work performed by external vendors and contractors.
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure adequate supply levels.
• Ensure all facility vehicles are clean, fueled, and maintained in proper working condition.
• Partner with the Safety Department to implement and uphold safety policies and procedures.
• Remain available for on-call support as required.

• Material handling equipment, building maintenance, fire systems, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Experience with budget management.

• High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years related experience required.
• Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
