Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for a Weekend Maintenance Mechanic (12.5 hrs a day Fri-Sun) to join our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience with a wide variety of equipment and utility systems.
Responsibilities
This position requires a self-starter who is able to work independently with a wide variety of equipment in an ISO 9000 environment.
In this role, the individual will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in a highly automated chemical manufacturing environment. The equipment the candidate will be working on will include:
* Reactors, Filters and drying ovens.
* Chillers, air compressors, boilers and pumps
* HVAC units, cooling towers and heat exchangers
Qualifications
Education
* High School diploma - minimum
* Technical trade School trade degree is a plus
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years previous experience in repair and maintenance required
* Basic pipe fitting experience
Skills:
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to comprehend and follow written procedures and documentation
* Ability to learn new processes
* Excellent communication skills
