• Work independently to repair and maintain all pipelines and appurtenances and perform work incidental to the daily operation and maintenance of pump stations and delivery facilities.
• Primary responder to all normal and emergency calls in the designated area.
• Maintain right-of-way, including line-marking as needed.
• Perform general pipeline construction and maintenance such as digging ditches, clearing right-of-way, coating pipe, building and repairing fences.
• Operate scrapers, small portable pumps, and repair pipeline leaks.
• Install right-of-way signs and markers and inspect contract employees performing maintenance activities.
• Perform general station grounds maintenance such as mowing, trimming, and weed cutting; load and unload heavy materials related to pipeline equipment.
• Operate company vehicles up to 10,000 GVW such as trucks and tractors; use pipe saws, hot-tap machines, etc. as directed; clean office and shop facilities.
• Interface with land owners, read maps, locate lines, and perform calls.
• Help maintain safe and healthful working conditions by exercising sound judgment and complying with safety regulations and standards.
• Perform relief gauging and tank inspection requiring working at heights of up to 50 feet above ground level.
• Relieve in higher-rated hourly classifications where qualified and in all higher-rated work areas as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Must reside within 45 miles of the reporting location or be willing to relocate within the 45 mile radius.
• Position may require extended off‑hour duties at times.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work overtime and respond to emergency activities as needed.
• Self‑reliant, dependable, and able to maintain harmonious working relations with co‑workers.
• Legibly written, maintain neat appearance, accurate in math, and good safety attitude and record.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather and perform heavy physical labor safely.
• Knowledge of a variety of hand and power tools and ability to operate them safely.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence to operate various classes of equipment.
• Preferred:
  Minimum 1 year service as a Pipeliner or industry experience.
