Pay Range

$16.90-$17.80 per hour.

Custodian under direct supervision of the Campus President maintains facilities to ensure safe, clean, presentable environment for public and employees.

• Clean and stock restrooms
• Vacuum and clean carpets
• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, labs, offices, reception area, and student/employee lounges
• Perform other duties as assigned

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• English proficiency sufficient to understand instructions.

Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Present information in one-on-one situations.

Add, subtract, multiply, divide. Compute rate, ratio, percent.

Apply common sense to follow detailed written or oral instructions. Handle problems involving few concrete variables.

• Stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
• Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Lift and move up to 10 lb regularly; 25 lb frequently; 50 lb occasionally.

Wet/humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather. Exposure to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; extreme cold/heat; electrical shock and vibration. Noise moderate.
