Environmental Services Housekeeper

Reporting to the Director of Environment Services and/or designated supervisors, the EVS Housekeeper will ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of all applicable hospital departments. Essential job duties include performing cleaning procedures in all assigned areas throughout the hospital in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner. The role also involves maintaining courteous and considerate relations with the medical staff, administrative staff, hospital patients, visitors, and other hospital employees.

Additionally, the EVS Housekeeper will complete special projects throughout the hospital as assigned and maintain cleanliness and neatness of equipment care and storage areas.

Qualifications:

Education/Training/Experience must include the ability to interpret and communicate/read/understand in English in written and verbal material to perform essential job functions. A high school education or equivalent is preferred, and prior housekeeping experience is also preferred.
