Facilities Maintenance

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, is seeking a dependable and hardworking Facilities & Grounds Maintenance Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and organization of our Tempe and Glendale facilities. This position is responsible for performing janitorial duties, grounds maintenance, light facility repairs, and general upkeep to ensure our facilities remain safe, clean, and professional for employees, customers, and visitors.

• Maintain positive working relationships with all employees, vendors, and visitors.
• Produce high-quality work safely and productively at all times.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, conference rooms, and common areas.
• Restock restroom and facility supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain cleanliness throughout company facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain interior floors and work areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of building exteriors, parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, and outdoor work areas.
• Pick up trash and debris throughout company properties.
• Assist with landscaping duties including weed removal, trimming, and general grounds upkeep.
• Keep storage yards, laydown areas, and company properties organized and free of clutter.
• Perform light facility maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
• Identify and report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns.
• Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, unnecessary movement, material storage, and time.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, groundskeeping, landscaping, or facility maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Must be willing and able to work at both the Tempe and Glendale facilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Possess effective verbal communication skills.

• Work up to a 10-hour shift performing physical labor in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Will lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Required to use hands to grasp, handle, carry, and operate cleaning equipment and tools.
• Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors throughout the day.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Move in and around active facilities, storage yards, and outdoor work environments.
