Janitorial Cleaner

ABM Industries seeks a Janitorial Cleaner to keep client facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom cleaning and disinfection, trash and recycling removal, and restocking supplies in offices, classrooms, lobbies, and common areas. The cleaner follows safety and chemical-handling procedures, reports maintenance or safety issues, and works independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and high-touch surfaces; restock paper, soap, and other supplies
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas
• Maintain floor care using appropriate tools and equipment as directed
• Follow all safety, security, and chemical-handling procedures and wear required PPEInspect work areas and report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or supply shortages
• Secure doors, rooms, and equipment as instructed after cleaning
• Work independently or with a team to complete tasks on schedule and meet quality standards
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and coworkers, reflecting ABM's service culture
• Participate in required training and follow company policies and site-specific guidelines
