Lane Enterprises Inc. seeks a Mechanic Supervisor to lead maintenance for manufacturing equipment supporting drainage and stormwater products. You will supervise mechanics, plan and prioritize repairs, and ensure safe, efficient operation of corrugating, forming, and material-handling machinery. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; overseeing preventive maintenance; coordinating downtime with production; managing parts inventory and vendors; and training technicians on safety and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with operations and safety teams to keep equipment reliable for critical infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule mechanics and maintenance technicians across shifts
- Plan, prioritize, and document preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment
- Coordinate maintenance downtime with production and operations teams
- Implement and improve preventive maintenance programs using CMMS/EAM tools
- Manage parts inventory, vendors, and maintenance-related purchasing
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA standards, and LOTO procedures
- Train and mentor mechanics on troubleshooting, safety, and quality practices
- Monitor equipment performance and lead root cause analysis for chronic issues
- Collaborate with plant leadership to support reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement goals
