Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team at a new apartment community in Templeton, MA.
The Maintenance Technician assists the Service Manager in the efficient operation of property, evaluating a broad range of maintenance needs with care and effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Electrical maintenance
- Plumbing maintenance
- HVAC maintenance
- Appliance repair
- Locks & keys
- Basic carpentry
- Painting and drywall repair
- Janitorial, grounds, and snow removal
- Cleaning
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in building common areas and other assigned areas
- Maintaining exterior grounds according to company standards
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Solid computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self‑starter, initiative, and ability to take initiative
- On‑call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable vehicle needed to perform essential duties
