Farm Equipment Operator

Super‑Sod Farm Labor/Machine Operator

Responsible for operating a variety of mechanical farming equipment—including mowers, forklifts, sprayers, and manual harvesting tools—to support all phases of sod production and harvesting.

• Operate diverse mechanical farm equipment used in agricultural production.
• Perform inspection and maintenance of equipment, vehicles, buildings, and facilities.
• Participate in construction/maintenance projects.
• Provide training to new staff or act as a lead worker.
• Maintain records and prepare reports as needed.
• Execute additional related tasks assigned by the Farm Supervisor.

• Experience operating farm equipment such as tractors, forklifts, or mowers.
• Ability to maintain a safety‑aware work environment.
• Bilingual skills are desired but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds or more. Requires full range of motion of arms and legs, constant limb use, good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Full‑time position. Typical Monday‑Friday hours:

• Winter & Fall: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Spring & Summer: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Hourly Pay Range: $16 – $18 USD.

Requires little to no travel time.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
