About the Role:

The Cleaning Tech plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This position involves performing thorough cleaning tasks using appropriate tools and cleaning agents to meet established quality standards. The Cleaning Tech is responsible for identifying areas that require attention and addressing them efficiently to uphold the facility's appearance and sanitation.

This role contributes directly to the health and safety of employees, clients, and visitors by preventing the spread of germs and allergens. Ultimately, the Cleaning Tech supports the overall operational excellence of the organization by delivering consistent and reliable cleaning services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a professional cleaning or janitorial role.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper chemical handling.
• Certification in cleaning or sanitation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are serviced regularly and thoroughly.
