Job Title Janitorial Supervisor- 2nd Shift

Job Description Summary The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily janitorial operations across assigned buildings or projects, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual and company standards. This role provides direct supervision to janitorial staff, supports account management activities, and maintains strong client relationships. The Janitorial Supervisor serves as a hands-on leader and a key representative of C&W Services at the site level.

Job Description The Janitorial Supervisor reports to the Senior Operations Manager and works under the direction of the Account Manager or Account Director. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide overall direction, coordination, and supervision of janitorial personnel across assigned shifts and buildings

Supervise daily operations to ensure services are performed as contracted and meet or exceed customer specifications

Assist in managing project activities and overseeing assigned janitorial crews

Coordinate staffing, work schedules, and assignments; prepare and submit weekly payroll time sheets

Establish and maintain work performance and quality standards

Conduct routine site inspections, quality assurance checks, and facility audits

Manage inventory, materials, and equipment usage, including key control procedures

Address and resolve on-site service delivery issues, employee concerns, and customer inquiries

Support snow removal services as required (seasonal)
Lead orientation and onboarding of new employees; provide ongoing training, coaching, and development

Participate in safety programs, safety committees, and required management or technical training

Oversee conference room setups and assist with internal moves or special projects as needed

Maintain effective and professional client relationships through regular communication

Perform employee evaluations, troubleshooting, and corrective actions as needed

Perform additional duties as assigned to support site and account objectives

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

One to three (1–3) years of supervisory experience in janitorial or facility services

Working knowledge of cleaning methods, procedures, equipment, and safety standards

Ability to manage schedules, inventory, payroll, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and clients

Fluent in English and Spanish preferred/required

Motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented leadership style

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required for operational support

Background check required

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
