Swine Barn Maintenances primary responsibility is to perform ongoing maintenance and complete repairs on equipment to keep the swine process running smoothly. Duties include a variety of building and land maintenance tasks involving building repair and manure management.

In this role you should expect to

• Perform general and preventative maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment inside and outside the farm
• Pump manure from pits
• Maintain grounds outside facility this includes trash removal, operating tractor to cut grass/fields, removal of snow/ice on roads in winter, adding gravel due to wash out
• Mowing
• Weed cutting
• Bushhogging
• Complete all maintenance tasks related to electrical, carpentry, welding, heating, ventilation, plumbing, and other miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, repair and/or replace parts
• Control pests on property and in buildings (rodents, insects)
• Maintain compost pile
• Champion Safety Culture
• Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
