EVS Specialist

As an EVS Specialist at The Ponce Therapy Care Center with Aramark, you will support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, disinfecting, floor care, waste removal, and stocking supplies in resident rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces. You will follow detailed cleaning protocols, infection control standards, and safety procedures. Working closely with nursing and facilities teams, you will respond to requests, maintain equipment, document tasks, and uphold Aramark's high standards for service, teamwork, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting of resident rooms, restrooms, and common areas
• Follow infection control, safety, and environmental services protocols
• Handle waste removal and properly dispose of trash and biohazard materials
• Perform basic floor care including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and carts
• Operate and care for EVS equipment safely and correctly
• Respond to cleaning requests from staff and residents in a timely manner
• Document completed tasks per facility and Aramark standards
• Collaborate with nursing, facilities, and other teams to support resident care
• Follow Aramark policies promoting teamwork, respect, and service excellence
