Maintenance Director

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and interior/ exterior repairs
Manage and coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and industry standards
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiency
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions
Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as needed
Identify and prioritize maintenance projects, allocating resources and personnel accordingly
Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, invoices, and inventory
Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and effective manner

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field a plus
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and traverse throughout the facility
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week
May be required to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
