Position Overview

Custodial/Janitorial Cleaner – Tewksbury, MA (1st Shift, Onsite)

Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm (1st shift)

Starting at $19.85 per hour

This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement.

• Clean and maintain all assigned areas to ensure a sanitized, dust‑free, and contamination‑free environment.
• Perform sweeping, dry and wet mopping, floor stripping, waxing, treating, buffing, and polishing of floors.
• Clean and polish desks, office furniture, walls, glass partitions, windows, blinds, lights, and light reflectors reachable from the ground.
• Maintain sanitary conditions of washrooms and restrooms.
• Properly dispose of general waste and recycling; move recycling/compost containers to the collecting area.
• Clean outside areas adjacent to doors, such as sidewalk areas and steps.
• Perform general maintenance and daily housekeeping of the workplace, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety rules and maintain records related to duties performed.
• Use central and portable vacuum systems, wipe machines, mops, brooms, brushes, floor polishes, and other cleaning supplies safely and effectively.

• Minimum of 1 year of related custodial or janitorial experience.
• U.S. citizen required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required DoD Confidential security clearance).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
