Seasonal Auto Glass Repair Service Specialist

Overview

A certified Safelite Repair Specialist I will utilize our industry‑leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs, championing the Safelite Spirit with a can‑do attitude.

• Learn to repair vehicle glass (in classroom and hands‑on) focusing on the Safelite Way of fitting under guidance.
• Repair chips, cracks and other auto glass related issues on customer vehicles.
• Manage work orders, customer documentation and communication through the Safelite handheld MRM technology.
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
• Clean customer vehicle during wait/idle time and perform additional housekeeping tasks.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, company‑issued tools and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

• Competitive weekly base pay starting at $16.75/hour.
• Work schedule Monday through Saturday, Sundays and another day off per week.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license; other required licenses to operate a company vehicle.
• Completion of Safelite Safe Tech™ certification (required).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs; assist with windshields 26‑50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend and twist body.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with federal, state and local laws; monitored via camera/video surveillance.
• Maintains professionalism and passion for customer service.
• Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
• Ability to work with chemicals (including flammable chemicals) per “Safelite Way of Fitting.”
• Ability to work scheduled days with flexibility on start and end times.
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to read, write and interpret English and technical directions.
• Ability to communicate orally (phone) and written (computer or other electronic means).
• Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to uniform and PPE policies.
• Willingness to maintain stable performance under professional or personal pressure.
