- Coordinate routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities
- Ensure facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and building equipment, are operating efficiently
- Conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and operational improvements
- Manage maintenance schedules and equipment service records
- Coordinate vendor services and monitor contract performance
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure facility services are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards
- Manage facility work orders from initiation through completion
- Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency, business impact, and safety requirements
- Coordinate facility improvement projects, renovations, and space planning activities
- Track project timelines, budgets, and resource utilization
- Communicate project status updates to Corporate Solutions leadership
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies
- Conduct routine safety inspections and corrective action follow-up
- Maintain records of inspections, permits, certifications, and compliance documentation
- Support emergency preparedness and response initiatives
- Identify and implement process improvements and best practices in partnership with the Director of Facilities and/or Corporate Leadership.
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement within facility operations
Position qualifications include the following:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or technical certification in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulations
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Adaptable and effective in dynamic, fast-changing operational environments
- Ability to walk throughout facilities and conduct inspections
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments as required
