Dow is seeking a Senior Maintenance Planner in Texas City, TX. Creates job packages from the work order scope which contains all of the information regarding required labor material and services to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the work. Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments.

Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Job will include daily maintenance and turnaround job planning.

A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience. Must have a current, valid US Driver’s License. A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Must be willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation. Wear all required personal protective equipment, including but not limited to a respirator. Perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting. Frequent/occasional lifting of material weighing approximately 50 lbs. Work in tight or closed-in spaces. Climb stairs/ladders and work high off the ground. Stand 50% of the time. Walk for extended periods of time.

Work in an area of intense or continuous noise. Work in an area with hazardous materials. This role does involve elevated work greater than or equal to four feet above the ground. Must be able to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE), including harnesses with a total weight capacity of 285 lbs.
