Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment and facilities within our milk plant. This includes routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and addressing any emergency maintenance issues that arise.

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on production lines to ensure efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Replace electrical motors and perform electrical troubleshooting as needed.
• Fix and maintain overhead doors and cooler doors to ensure they are operating properly.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Address any emergency maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure minimal disruption to production schedules during maintenance work.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed.
• Keep the place maintenance clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and parts.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience in a maintenance role
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings if required.
