Shop Hand

The Shop Hand is responsible for performing daily duties related to the general upkeep and maintenance of the shop and facilities.

• Work with ethics, honesty, values, and integrity, providing a position of professionalism to others.
• Perform various shop duties including maintaining a clean work environment inside and outside the shop.
• Complete preventative maintenance, make ready, and wash procedures.
• Clean, paint, and load equipment and tools.
• Repair trailers including bearings, wheels, tires, brakes, and lighting under mechanic supervision.
• Use all electrical tools, safety devices, and equipment according to company policies and safety procedures.
• Operate skid steer and forklift according to company policies and safety standards.
• Complete all required monthly safety and equipment‑related trainings.
• Answer company‑issued cell phone during on‑call hours, in accordance with company and safety policies.
• Perform any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds required.
• Must be able to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co‑workers, customers, and management.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to the extent verbal and written instructions in English are understood.

• Preferred: Driver's License.
