part‑time maintenance custodian
hourly rate: $13.00 per hour.
this is a 19‑hour‑per‑week position. Work hours are:
- 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm monday – thursday.
- 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm friday.
work hours are altered during campus summer hours but will remain 19 hours per week.
overtime may be required for special events.

responsibilities95 % of the time, performs general custodial duties of all buildings. Routine duties include:
- empties, sanitizes, and relines trash receptacles
- sweeps and mops floors
- cleans and sanitizes bathrooms and fixtures, refills disposable items
- vacuum rooms with carpeting
- strips, scrubs, seals, and buffs tile floors
- cleans carpets
5 % of the time performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
performance measurements- up to six months of similar or related experience; two years of responsible experience in a custodial job preferred.
- normal courtesy in dealing with others required.
- must be able to operate cleaning equipment.
- must be able to follow oral and written instructions in english.
- must have basic computer skills, including the ability to use a computer for online training.
- moderate physical exertion is required, including walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, twisting, stretching, and reaching.
- must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
