Job Opening

The City of Richland Hills, Texas is seeking a Custodian to perform general cleaning and custodial functions for city facilities, including restrooms, counters, floors (tile and carpet), windows, lobbies, walls, furniture, kitchens and appliances, offices, break rooms, storage areas, mechanical closets, custodial closets, and outdoor areas such as entrances, patios, and parking lots.

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and some manual labor experience or general cleaning and maintenance for public facilities preferred.
• Must have a valid Texas Class C Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Ability to provide a high level of service to customers, demonstrate intrinsic motivation, high ethical and moral standards, and maintain physical condition necessary for moderate to heavy lifting; bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, climbing; standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, balancing, crouching; use of hands and fingers; flexibility of schedule.
• Must clear a post-offer physical, drug test, and criminal background check.
